I've put Stitch Buddy onto my iPad & once accustomed to using it, I'll pay the $50 to get reasonable coverage since 1000 stitches is a low bar to reach!

I do have query about the following: it appears odd that Stitch Buddy was already amidst the many Janome apps but since I hadn't remembered it, I had searched 'Stitch Buddy' & adding it was available as though it was not on my iPad. When I looked for where I'd put the icon, I was surprised to see it already there but it required a rapid update of some sort. I'm puzzled as to what was happening as I've never seen such a thing-being OK to download something that's already presently added to the device! Typically, when an app is already present, it simply shows an option of opening it but I downloaded it as new. Was the original icon actually the same as what I downloaded? How different? It's a unique experience for me.

Additionally, I've watched a couple other videos & it seems this works simply & effectively, unlike so many other approaches! This seems akin to a 'breath of fresh air' after looking into many programs that require extensive study time before any understanding sets in.

Of course, the real test is yet to come when I put it to use.

No, sorry: StitchBuddy does not recalculate stitches when resizing. You need to limit the increase / decrease, otherwise the design would become too loose or dense. For this reason the maximum amount per resize is limited (although you can repeat the operation).

I can include additional thread charts, but only if anybody can provide me the following information: Chart name (the brand), and per color the color's name (if any), its number, and (most important) the color itself as an RGB triplet: It consists of three numbers representing the amount of red, green, and blue, and is basically representing how a color is displayed. If you're able to provide this list I could incorporate your Superior brand in the next release ... but that will take a while as StitchBuddy takes a summer bread.
Anyway, my wife uses colors on her Mac only to get an impression of a design, and picks threads from her collection without relying too much on a program's suggestion: These are often ways off and I wouldn't overestimate them...
